Case study
A new website for GPF Construction
GPF Construction is Tom Russell’s building firm in Buckinghamshire, doing high-spec builds, renovations and structural work. We designed and built them a new site, mainly for people looking on their phones, with every finished project shown properly.

The problem
Good work, but only in photo albums
GPF is a family-run builder based in Soulbury. They started out in brickwork and scaffolding, and now take on full builds, extensions and specialist stonework. They had years of finished jobs to show off, but the photos were sitting in albums rather than on their website.
Most people choosing a builder look on their phone, often in a spare five minutes. They want to see finished work, get a sense of who they’d be dealing with, and find a number to ring. If the page is slow or the form is long, they go back and try the next builder.
What we built
The new site
Designed and built from scratch, with the domain and email sorted along the way.
A page for every project
Each finished job has its own page: where it was, what GPF did, and a gallery of photos of the finished work. These replaced the old pages.
Quick on a phone
No page builder and no plugins slowing it down. Photos are resized for the web, and phones get their own crop of the main image, so the galleries load quickly even on 4G.
Domain and email looked after
We set the site up on gpfconstruction.com and www, both secure. Their email on the same domain carried on working as normal.
Easy to get in touch
The phone number is at the top of every page, and the office line and Tom’s mobile are both tap-to-call. The enquiry form only asks for a name, an email and a few lines about the job.
On screen
The live site
Screens from gpfconstruction.com.

The homepage. A finished GPF build fills the screen, with the phone number and a Discuss your project button straight underneath the headline.

A project page. Each case study opens on the finished work, then sets out the scope and a full photo gallery.
